Many issues that impact the food allergy community are controlled at the state level i.e., by state laws or regulations.

Some of these issues include:

  • Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs, or 911 emergency personnel);
  • Restaurants, and their ability to manage customers with food allergy;
  • Schools and camps, and their ability to safely manage youngsters with food allergy.
